COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Parts of southern Ohio are recovering from another snow storm that closed some schools and government offices.
Forecasters said as much as 10 inches fell across parts of far southern and southeastern Ohio Sunday night into Monday.
Ohio University in Athens closed its campus until 5 p.m. due to the weather.
An Auto Zone employee in Athens said people were still getting out on the roads, but they remained snow-covered late Monday morning.
The National Weather Service says the snow had ended in all but the far southeastern parts of the state along the Ohio River by late morning.
But Meteorologist John Franks says another storm is expected to move into Ohio Tuesday. He says the heaviest snow from that probably will hit north of Columbus.
