Changes come to Elmwood at The Springs

GREEN SPRINGS — Jan. 22, leaders and support staff at Elmwood Communities boarded shuttles from their individual sites to participate in a progressive dinner that included tours of all the Elmwood sites. The first stop was Elmwood at The Springs, the former St. Francis Health Care Centre in Green Springs. Kathy Hunt, Elmwood’s chief executive officer, and Deb Sherick, executive director of marketing, described the experience. “We started here at The Springs around 2 o’clock, and we provided shuttles. ... Staff came from Fremont, Tiffin and across the street. After we were done with that tour, we went to Tiffin, and they toured the Tiffin facility,” Sherick said. The group had appetizers in Tiffin, dinner in Fremont and dessert back in Green Springs at the original Elmwood, now designated as the East Campus. The CEO wanted Elmwood employees to tour the company’s newest acquisition and to gain a sense of the larger organization to which they belong.
