Drug raid nets seven arrests

FOSTORIA — Seven people were arrested early Tuesday morning after law enforcement officials conducted six drug-related search warrants in Fostoria. A three-and-a-half month investigation called “De-railed” led to the execution of the search warrants, according to a release from The Seneca County Drug Task Force-METRICH Enforcement Unit. The investigation focused on an alledged crack-cocaine distribution ring in Fostoria which involved 13 suspects who were operating from various residences. According to the release, those arrested Tuesday and their charges included: Richard May, 46, 39 Cherry St., obstruction of official business; Tyree L. Carpenter, 28, 610 Columbus Ave., trafficking in crack cocaine, possession of criminal tools and possession of cocaine; Andrea Hernandez, 22, 610 Columbus Ave., permitting drug abuse; Eric E. Coleman Sr., 39, 245 Bricker St., trafficking in crack cocaine; Tara O’Dell, 25, 245 Bricker St.
