The Seneca County General Health District is to conduct an H1N1 vacination clinic noon-5:30 p.m. today at Mercy Tiffin Hospital, 45 St. Lawrence Drive. Marjorie Broadhead, Seneca County health commissioner, said the clinic is to focus on pregnant women, people who live with or care for infants and 6-month-olds to 24-year-olds. Flu vaccines also are to be administered to 25- to 64-year-olds with medical conditions that put them at high risk for influenza complications and any health care professionals who have not received the vaccine. Due to a lack of pediatric vaccines, the clinic is not available to children 6 months to 3 years of age. The health department has a limited supply of injectable shots and nasal mist vaccinations.
