Weight-loss group challenged at halfway point

This is a subject that I hesitated to bring up in the column, but because Nick Fabrizio introduced it at last week’s Weight Loss Challenge meeting, here goes.

There are certain subjects that come up in conversations that make you feel you have reached a “certain age.” I always have vowed never to discuss whether certain parts of my body were functioning properly; that’s right, I’m going to talk about “movements.” Or lack thereof.

Since going on the HerbaLife program, I have discussed with Nick several times that I have had difficulty with my “movements.” Actually, when I first talked to him about going on the diet product, I said I could not afford to have it keep me from my regular activities (translated: work). Let’s just say that in several days, I managed to read an entire Harry Potter novel. Not only was my problem time consuming, it was painful.
