TU women v. Hillsdale.

January 8, 2011 - Zach Baker
Mandy Jaeb has four points, going over 1,000 for her career. The Dragons lead early, 12-8, behind an impressive start from freshman Amanda Baute, who has four points and some hustle rebounds.

Jaeb has eight points, and TU leads the Chargers, 20-18 with 9:31to go in the half.

With 4:17 left in the half, Tiffin leads, 27-21. The lead was at eight moments ago. TU is playing well on defense, but still occasionally allows an uncontested layup from something other than transition. Jaeb has 12.

Jaeb may have 2,000 points before this game is over. OK, I might be stretching it. She has 19, and TU leads 34-26, with 1:07 left.

That probably was the best half TU's played all year. Jaeb, who has 21 points, draws the defense in, then dishes to Karli Mast for a corner 3 just before the buzzer. Tiffin leads Hillsdale, 39-26 at half.

Back-to-back jumpers from Jessica Harris have helped create a 6-0 TU run that has stretched its lead to 45-26 with 16:55 left.

With 14:34 remaining in the half, the Dragons hold a 46-28 lead. Jaeb hasn't scored yet, but she's all over the place, gobbling up rebounds and hustling for every loose ball. She seems practically possessed.

The lead was up around 20, then Jaeb left the game. The offense became a little choppy, and Hillsdale has rallied to make it 55-41 with 9:41 to go. The Chargers are 4-2 in the GLIAC. They are not going away. Jaeb has checked back in at the 9:41 mark.

When Jaeb returned, TU rebuilt its lead, now at 68-49 with 4:50 left. Jaeb has 26, but you can't overlook the contributions of Karli Mast, who has 13.
