An error by Darin Baldosser helps the Redskins load the bases with one out. He fans Austin Lane, but Zach Browns lines a 2-RBI single to center. 2-0 Cuyahoga Heights headed to the bottom of 3.
Now down 4-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Seneca East puts a pair on due to an error and a two-out infield single by Elliott Lee. But Jason Branham hits into a fielder's choice to end the inning. 4-0 Cuyahoga Heights going to the fifth.
Cuyahoga Heights tacks on another run in the fifth on a bloop double by Zach Browning and a single by Jason Kleppel that could have been ruled an error on the shortstop. 5-0 Redskins, SE batting in the fifth.
Seneca East has best threat, runners on corners with one out, but Ethan Caudill grounds to short. The runners is forced at second, but Caudill beats the relay to first. But the umpire rules runner's interference and a double play called, ending the inning. SE coach Frank Lamoreaux argues the call, but to no avail. 5-0 Cuyahoga Heights going to the sixth.
Seneca East trails 8-0 top of the seventh. Jordan Bowerman is in, the third SE pitcher of the game. Tigers have just two hits, Andrew Tesler's RBI double makes it 9-0. That's where we are going to the bottom of the seventh.
