Redistricting complaints and issues

Asking for donations from some voters, Representative Jim Jordan recently complained in a letter that the U.S. District Court in Cincinnati ruled as unconstitutional the current Congressional state map, which gives Republicans a 12-4 majority. In a letter to the Toledo Blade (June 14, 2019), Paul Duggan of Bryan quoted Mr. Jordan as saying the effort of Democrats to redistrict the map was cheating and that the ruling “brings them one step closer to rigging my re-election.” A representative who benefits from a rigged map complains that to unrig the Congressional map is rigging.
