Thanks for helping with park cleanup

Thank you to all who helped clean up leaves and sticks from Oakley Park April 6.

It was a great sight to see more than 50 people working together to basically rake all the park. We had a great combination of all ages of workers, from neighbors, friends, members of STAND, Seneca County Community Emergency Response Team, softball and baseball players, persons from Flat Rock Home and even dancers from the area.

A special thanks goes out to Bryce Kuhn, Mason Correll, and Nick Borer for hauling all the leaves and sticks away for us. We kept 3 dump trucks moving most of the morning. We also enjoyed a lunch provided by donations from Dr. Carl Schafer, Mark and Jean Smith, Ken Jones, Rick and Jane Fredrick, and Culligan Water of Tiffin. To top it all off we had home-baked cookies from Mary Florence.

It is so nice to see all these people working together to make Tiffin and our parks a great place to live and enjoy.

Cindy Jordan,

Tiffin
