May I suggest Mr. Kalnow’s philanthropic endeavors correct the past mistakes of National Machinery.

Former employees were caught in the crosshairs of his purchase. These employees lost money due to them in their wage and benefit agreement. Mr. Kalnow was not legally responsible for this injustice. However, for all intents and purposes, Homer Smith said it best in “Lilies of the Field,” “the laborer is worthy of his hire.”
