This year we were honored to have Paul “Clutch” Miletti in attendance to greet the golfers as they finished their rounds. Clutch also joined us for dinner, and was able to share some stories with the attendees.

Paul Miletti was the longtime teacher and coach at Calvert High School, retiring nearly 30 years ago, in 1988. He was a government and history teacher, but also coached football, wrestling and then started the golf team at Calvert. This golf tournament was started around 25 years ago, and it raises money to support Calvert Athletics.

Clutch has not been able to make it out to the Open for a few years. It was nice to have him on hand again this year.
