Officers show respect

This year’s Memorial Day parade was a big success due to a lot of time and team work put in by the parade organizers, Jody O’Millian and Denny Burkin. With a lot of help from Tracy Burkin, a big “thank you” goes out to the people who helped organize the beginning of the parade. We thank all the participants in this year’s parade.

It was very professional when the chief of police, sheriff and the state police officer exited their vehicles and went to the back of the last one to render a hand salute with the veteran’s honor guard as the Columbian band played the patriotic music. Thank you, gentleman, very much. This says a lot about law enforcement and their respect for veterans in the city of Tiffin and the state of Ohio. Thank you all, very much.
