Passing along thanks
Here is a letter we received at the funeral home from the 387th Air Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron thanking those who participated in our annual Stockings for Soldiers.
We thought we would share this with you to show how much it means to the men and women overseas.
Thank you, again, for making the Stockings for Soldiers such a success!

Stockings lift spirits of airmen away from home
On behalf of the Defenders of the 387th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, please pass our thanks to anyone in your community who helped with the gift stockings, cards and well wishes during this holiday season. Your simple act of kindness and remembrance have lifted the spirits of our squadron and brought smiles to faces of many airmen.
All of us here wish we could spend the holidays with our families and loved ones. Although we will be celebrating this holiday away from home, we will be doing so with your thoughts, kind words and well wishes in our hearts. It brings comfort to our airmen to know they have not been forgotten and their services will allow others to celebrate a merry Christmas and happy new year.
From all of us here at the 387th Expeditionary Forces Squadron, we wish you a very merry Christmas and a joyous new year.
Thomas M. McGillicuddy,
