Thanks for the pajamas
St. Francis Senior Ministries would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to the Mercy Tiffin Hospital Mission Co-Ed Committee for their recent donation of pajamas to our residents at St. Francis Home.
The Mission Co-Ed Committee sponsored a “Jammies for Grammies & Pants for Gramps” drive in which they asked Mercy Tiffin Hospital employees to donate pajamas for residents in senior care facilities that might otherwise be wearing hospital gowns.
The residents at St. Francis Home had an all-day pajama party and were able to choose the pajamas they liked. The nursing home staff also participated by wearing their pajamas that day and assisting the residents with their choices.

For all members of the Tiffin T-Squares Dance Club, we wish to thank Annie Almekinder, coordinator of education technology at Heidelberg University, for her direction and guidance with the creation of our website, www.tiffintsquares.org.
Because of her help, our club will be better able to meet needs of our members and new dancers in the future. Thanks for helping our club, Annie!

Grateful for support
Heidelberg University’s Office of Civic Engagement would like to thank the Tiffin community for its continuous support.
Jan. 20, the university took part in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. Although students did not have class, we had approximately 60 volunteers (which also included faculty/staff) serve eight agencies in the area. In order to kick off our event, we had the help of the Rev. Paul Stark, Heidelberg President Rob Huntington and Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz.
Agencies included American Red Cross of Seneca County, Tiffin Developmental Center, First Lutheran Church, Good Shepherd Home, New Housing Ohio (two locations), St. Paul’s Ecumenical Sharing Kitchen, Trinity United Church of Christ and United Way.
Thank you to all who participated in some way during our time of service learning. We strive to give back to the community that has supported us for so many years.
