Sponsors, volunteers made Oktoberfest a success
While we already are preparing for our 10th anniversary of the Oktoberfest next year, the Friends of Seneca County Park District would like to express our sincere gratitude to the following businesses and individuals who made the ninth annual Oktoberfest at Garlo Nature Preserve in Bloomville again a rousing success.
Without our very generous sponsors our Oktoberfest would not be a reality. The parks rely heavily on these kinds of events to keep Seneca County Parks what they are: the best of its kind in Ohio and supported solely by dedicated volunteers.

Thanks to the members and friends who baked delicious goods for the “Baeckerei” and prepared the German cuisine; and to the volunteers who organized children’s activities, and animal exhibits, demonstrated the trade of blacksmithing, the talents of widdling and the spinning of wool, and who made the rides through the preserve informative.
Please forgive me if I have unknowingly omitted anyone. Please be assured your help was of tremendous value and please except our gratitude.
Even though rain threatened to fall all afternoon, our visitors enjoyed a fun-filled fall day with many activities for the whole family.
Thank you ever so much.
