Novel auction begins today

In observation of Be a Friend Month at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library, the Friends of the Library are sponsoring a silent auction of novels signed by nationally known authors. The theme of the auction is “My favorite place.” We selected novels with interesting plots that also provide a mini-vacation through the setting.

Authors JA Jance, Linda Castillo, Charlaine Harris, PL Bauss, Jim Butcher, Les Roberts, Jane Smiley, Bonnie Jo Campbell and John Densmore generously donated their favorite novels.

Please stop at our display near the circulation desk to peruse the titles and place bids for your favorite books.

Bids will be accepted today through Nov. 20. The winning bids will be announced and books presented at the Friends annual meeting Nov 21. Doug Collar, our featured speaker, will speak on authors from our most favorite place, Tiffin.

Memberships in the Friends of the Library start at $5 annually. Applications are available near the circulation desk. Please join us and have fun challenging bids in the silent auction.
