Ricky L. Leeth

Ricky L. Leeth, 72, of Nevada, died at 7:11 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2019, in the emergency room of Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky.

He was born Nov. 23, 1946, in Bainbridge, to Robert and Becky (Miller) Leeth. He married Jennifer (May) Leeth Nov. 18, 1979, and she survives.

Also surviving are children, Rick (Jeannie) Leeth Jr. of Sycamore, Randy (Kacy) Leeth of rural Sycamore, Kyle (Kim) Leeth of rural Sycamore, Mike Leeth of rural McCutchenville, Dan Leeth of Sycamore, Sonny (Mel) Ward of rural Forest and Chad (Rachnee) Ward of rural Sycamore; 24 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lois (Terry) Phillips of Tiffin and Sandy (Louie Lane) Blair of Benton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter; and one brother, Joe Leeth, who died May 27, 2019.

Ricky was in the masonry restoration business, working for various companies and himself for over 50 years. He was a 1964 graduate of Mohawk High School, member of Monroe-Toledo Beagle Club, Rogers Lake Conservation Club, former member and past governor of Upper Sandusky Moose Lodge No. 1093 and currently was serving as a councilman of Nevada Town Council.

For hobbies, Ricky loved to hunt, fish, cook outside on his grill and watch his children and grandchildren participate in all kinds of sporting events. He also left behind his lap dog, Jasper, whom he dearly loved.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2019, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore.

A memorial service for Ricky will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2019, at the funeral home.
