Claudine Sturgill, 82, of Bloomville, passed away Sunday morning March 10, 2019, at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
She was born June 28, 1936, in Whitesburg, Kentucky, to Gideon and Laura (Smith) Brown. She married Willie L. Sturgill July 1, 1958, in Whitesburg, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death July7, 2013.
Survivors include her six children, Lewis (Thersa) Sturgill of St. Johnsbury, Vermont, William Sturgill of Montana, Daniel (Betsy) Sturgill of Littleton, New Hampshire, Wilma Davidson of Tolna, North Dakota, Anna (Joe) Burks of Bloomville and Donna Jean (George) Nealey of Norfolk, Virginia; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; three brothers; and three sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Claudine was a homemaker and enjoyed taking road trips with her husband to Amish country.
Visitation will be 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019, at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR 19, Bloomville.
Her funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019, at the funeral home with the Rev. Roger Turpin officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Creek Cemetery, CR 16, Tiffin.
