Terry L. Doss
Terry L. Doss, 83, of Sycamore, died at 8:31 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, at Bridge Findlay Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
She was born June 29, 1935, in Mansfield, to Daryl and Altha (Winner) Ransom. She married Eddie L. Doss June 14, 1953, at Sycamore United Methodist Church, and he survives.
Also surviving are: the following three children, Deb (Andy) Kuhn of Tiffin, Diana (Toby) Hammond of Port Clinton and Darren (Don) Frank of Tiffin; six grandchildren, Brett (Heather) Staib of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Ashley (Andy) Leis of Port Clinton, Hillary Hepp of St. Petersburg, Florida, Haley (David) Hepp of Marion, Alexa (Justin) Wharton of Memphis, Tennessee, Alicia Frank and friend, Mitch Reinhart of Tiffin; eight great-grandchildren, Hudson, Brennan, and Brookelyn Staib, Austin, Landon, Ethan and Nolan Leis, and Rowan Hepp; and one sister, Darlene (Gale) Bryant of Nevada.
Terry was a homemaker, former president of Wyandot Construction, worked at the former Sycamore Leader and was a licensed Realtor for the former Wayne F. Walton Realty. She was a member of Sycamore United Methodist Church where she served on various committees over her lifetime. She also was a member of Warpole Lodge No. 366 OES, Upper Sandusky, a member of Sycamore Lions Club, a member of the former Sycamore Mother’s Club, was secretary of Sycamore Alumni Association, former member of Wyandot County Board of Elections and was former secretary of Pleasant View Cemetery for more than 40 years.
For hobbies, she loved to travel, spending 25 winters in Pine Island, Florida, and summers at their home on Lake Erie. She also loved to bowl and attend all the activities of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore.
Funeral for Terry will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at the funeral home with the Rev. Kristen Buchs and the Rev. Orion Aubihl officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore.
