Marilyn J. Stevens, 85, of Sycamore, died at 11:07 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center, Upper Sandusky.

She was born April 29, 1933, in Wyandot County, to Jacob A. and Mazie M. (Covert) Margraf. She married Glenn Stevens Aug. 18, 1951, and he survives.

Surviving are the following children, David A. (Polly) Stevens of McCutchenville, Mary Beth (Dave) Chester of Sycamore, Marcia (Steve) Bennett of Upper Sandusky, Mark E. Stevens of Toledo, Melissa A. Lippert of Milan, Teresa L. Taylor of Tiffin, Michael J. (Kelly) Stevens of Fostoria, Sarah (Kevin) Zoeller of Tiffin and Rebecca Jill Stevens-Fenstermaker (Nathan) Fenstermaker of Upper Sandusky; 15 grandchildren, Joshua Stevens, Jodi Stevens, Jacob Stevens, Joseph Chester, Michael Chester, Cory Steinmetz, Patrick Steinmetz, Andrea Hoopes, Veronica Dines, Audrey Dines, Nicholas Stevens, Nadine Weininger, Robert Barney, Mazie Stevens and McKayla Fenstermaker; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a great grandson; four brothers; three sisters; and her parents.

She was a 1951 graduate of McCutchenville High School. Marilyn was a homemaker and also at one time a cook at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. She also was a member of the former Presbyterian Church, McCutchenville, and a current member of Trinity United Church of Christ, McCutchenville, where she used to sing in the choir.

For hobbies she loved to read, do crossword puzzles, sports especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians, but most of all loved to be around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore.

A memorial service for Marilyn will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date in Bethel Cemetery, McCutchenville.
