Thomas Michael ‘Tiny’ Cameron
Thomas Michael “Tiny” Cameron, 62, of Dayton, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018.
He was born July 12, 1955, in Tiffin, to Mickey and Thelma. He later was adopted by James Cameron, who also preceded him in death.
Tom is survived by his wife, Joyce; three children, Thomas (Brandy) Cameron Jr. of Bascom, Tiffany (Pete) Roberts of Australia and Kelly (William) Phillips of Dayton; six grandchildren, Ivana Jean, Austin Michael, Chase O’Neal, Marissa, Kayden and Izza’Bell; a sister, Mary Cameron; four brothers, Chris (Lynette) Cameron, Tim Cameron, Kandy Matthew (Liz) Cameron and Robert Cameron; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and special friends, Dave and Jennifer Surbaugh and their kids, Davinia, Katlynn and Connie and Marcella and Bobby Hurt.
Tom was also preceded in death by his beloved dog, Spirit.
Tom graduated in 1972 from Old Fort High School, Old Fort.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from J.G. Casting in Delaware, was an avid softball player and fisherman; member of Alco-aides Club for the last 28 years and sponsored numerous people during that time. He also was a member of the Sons of God Motorcycle Club.
Visitation will be 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2018, at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424, where his funeral will begin at 12:30 p.m. Burial and military honors will follow at 2 p.m. at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W. Third Ave., Dayton, OH 45424.
