Shirley M. Dunlap
Shirley M. Dunlap, 71, of Upper Sandusky, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2018, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky.
Shirley was born Oct. 13, 1946, in Tiffin, to Don C. and Maxine (Day) Sherer. She was married to William H. “Bill” Dunlap of Sycamore, for 34 years, and they divorced.
Shirley is survived by two sons, William C. (Kelly) Dunlap of Sycamore and Todd A. (Janet) Dunlap of McCutchenville; a daughter, Corinna Dunlap; six grandchildren, Alyssa, Kayla, Brayden, Billy, Tabitha and Levi; along with five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Taah; and three sisters, Janet, Betty and Leah.
Shirley worked as a nursing assistant for Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky for 11 years. She was an avid supporter for the Disabled American Veterans.
Her family was everything to her. She loved to spend her time with them and also enjoyed watching movies with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, July 14, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky St., Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
A celebration of life service for Shirley Dunlap will begin at noon Saturday, July 14, 2018, at the funeral home, with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will be in Farewell Retreat Cemetery, Scipio Township, Seneca County, and will take place at a later date.
