Rita Reinhart, 89, of Fremont, died Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Mount Carmel West, Columbus.
Rita was born May 13, 1929, in Tiffin. She was the daughter of Henry and Victoria (Pahl) Kinn. She married William L. Reinhart of Bascom, Feb. 4, 1950, and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are her three sons, William L. Reinhart Jr., Raymond J. (Sandy) Reinhart and Steven A. (Sarah) Reinhart; two grandchildren, Andrew Reinhart and Kate (Reinhart) Eckhoff; two great-grandchildren, Kody Reinhart and Hadley Reinhart, all residing in Columbus; a sister, Martha Smith of Findlay; and a brother, Norman Kinn of Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers, Raymond, Cletus, Gerald, Edmund, Cyrille, Vernon and Herman; and two infant sisters, Mary Catherine and Mary Madeline.
Rita had worked at Tiffin Glass, Christie Co. and was cafeteria manager for SJCC in Fremont 1972-1984. Most recently, she assisted in home care for several Fremont families 1995-2016. She also was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fremont, 1950 to present.
A celebration of life for Rita will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey.
