Norman Lee Mohr

Norman Lee Mohr, 82, of Fort Myers, Florida, and formerly Tiffin and Republic, died Monday, May 14, 2018, in Lee Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 24, 1936, at home in Republic, to Willard and Frances Mohr.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Faye (Halcomb) Mohr; four daughters, Elaine Hambling (Chuck) of Cape Coral, Florida, Leigh Byer (Paul) of Fort Myers, Florida, Tracy Rummans (John) of N. Fort Myers, Florida, and Vickie (Julio Cruz) DeArmond of Fort Myers, Florida; one sister, Janice Mohr of Okeechobee, Florida; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Paul Mohr.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

His celebration of life service and military honors were Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gary Sinise Foundation, P.O. Box 50008, Studio City, CA 91614-5001, which funds programs to benefit active military, veterans, Gold Star families and first responders.
