Mary Ann Remsberg
Mary Ann Remsberg, 72, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday morning, Sept. 16, 2017, at Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born June 2, 1945, in Tiffin, to Paul James and Dorothy Louise (Turner) Hoerig. She married Michael Remsberg Oct. 20, 1995.
Survivors include her husband, Michael of Tiffin; two sons, Gary Wise of Green Springs and Fred (Dee) Williams Jr. of Toledo; a daughter, Paula (Kevin) Young of Fremont; eight stepchildren, Michael, Daniel, Lorrie, Theresa, Sharon, Nancy, Brenda and Jake; a brother, Bob (Carol) Hoerig of Green Springs; two sisters, Linda (Kevin) Crum of Republic and Cindy (Rick) Siferd of Fostoria; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Mike Hoerig; and a granddaughter, Jeannie Wise.
Mary Ann was a bookkeeper for 12 years at ECI, a caregiver and worked at Bookmyer Printing. She was a creative designer and decorator and started her own online sites, Graphics-N-Bits and Brannie’s Country Design. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, life member of the DAV Auxiliary and a 30-year AA member, visiting Akron often and attending AA conventions around the country. Mary Ann taught herself sign language, how to play the guitar and keyboard, was a loyal member of Pat Catan’s and enjoyed trips, especially to Pigeon Forge.
Her memorial service will begin at noon Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at the AMVETS shelter, 1909 S. SR 100, Tiffin, OH 44883, with a luncheon to follow.
Friends may visit with the family 11 a.m. until the time of her service at the shelter.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
