Casey Lynn Lucille Opp

Casey Lynn Lucille Opp, 37, of Fostoria and formerly of Tiffin, passed away Thursday evening, Aug. 3, 2017, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital after a brief illness.

On June 28, 1980, in Tiffin, she was born to Thomas and Sandra (Stalsworth) Opp.

Survivors include her parents, Sandra (Pat) Fitschen and Thomas (Sherry Mitchem) Opp, both of Tiffin; her fiance, Michael Tucker Jr. of Fostoria; grandmother, Nina Stalsworth of Tiffin; two brothers, Brad (Dana) Opp and Hunter Fitschen, both of Tiffin; two sisters, Amber Terry of New Riegel and Chelsea Fitschen of Tiffin; stepson, Tayshaun Tucker of Bloomdale; two nieces, Hailee and Kylin; nephew, Kyson; two half brothers, Tommy Opp Jr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Jaysonn Opp of Tiffin; two half sisters, Heather Whitacker of Tiffin and Beth Deflet of Toledo; and her dogs, Diamond, Diva and Dre.

Her grandparents, Fred Stalsworth, Dorothy Pryor and Vernon Opp; nephew, Konnor Opp; and her dog, Diesel, preceded her in death.

Casey graduated in 1998 from Columbian High School, Tiffin, and from Brown Mackie College, Findlay, with a medical assistant degree. She worked at Tiffin Developmental Center and, most recently, at Rescare, Fostoria. She was a very loving and caring person who helped anyone in need. Over the years, she provided health care to many, including her own family. She enjoyed vacationing in Florida, especially Treasure Island, Las Vegas, and casino trips to Detroit.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017, at Hopewell Church of God with Pastor Terry Steinhauer officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Fairmont Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
