James L. Sikora
James L. Sikora, 55, of Tiffin, passed away at 12:31 p.m., Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, at his residence.
James was born July 21, 1961, in Tiffin, to John P. and Donna M. (Tiell) Sikora. He married Debra Pishner and they later divorced. She survives in Toledo.
Additional survivors include his mother, Donna Sikora of Tiffin; a son, Jamie Sikora of Tiffin; three granddaughters; two brothers, John and Jeff Sikora, both of Tiffin; two sisters, Cheryl Sikora and Carol Mentzer, both of Tiffin; and Caleb Swartzmiller of Findlay, who he treated as a son and helped raise from birth.
James was preceded in death by his father.
James enjoyed playing baseball and golf in his younger years. He attended Tiffin Calvert and Tiffin Columbian High Schools and worked for American Standard. James always enjoyed rock and roll music and the SUN.
A Mass of Christian burial for James will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Tiffin, with the Rev. Kishore Kottana officiating. A rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to the Mass.
Visitation for family and friends will be 3-7 p.m. Monday, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
