Clayton Larry Renfro

Clayton Larry Renfro, 70, of rural Clyde, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, at Stein Hospice, Sandusky.

Clayton was born June 9, 1946, in Honeybee, Kentucky, to the late Kelly and Georgie (Perry) Renfro. He married Kathryn Mae Carter March 27, 1967, and she survives.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Clayton also is survived by his three children, Duane Eugene Renfro of Oklahoma, Clayton Larry Jr. (Angela) Renfro of Clyde and Genine Renfro of Florida; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Geneve Dunlap and Valda Johnson both of Kentucky.

Graveside military services will begin at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde. Clyde VFW and American Legion will provide the service.

Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde, is assisting the family with the service and arrangements.
