Clayton Larry Renfro

Clayton Larry Renfro, 70, of rural Clyde, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, at Stein Hospice, Sandusky.

Clayton was born June 9, 1946, in Honeybee, Kentucky, to the late Kelly and Georgie (Perry) Renfro. He married Kathryn Mae Carter March 27, 1967, and she survives.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He also is survived by three children, Duane Eugene Renfro of Oklahoma, Clayton Larry (Angela) Renfro Jr. of Clyde and Genine Renfro of Florida; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Geneve Dunlap and Valda Johnson, both of Kentucky.

Graveside military services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde. Clyde VFW and American Legion will conduct the services.

Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde, is assisting with arrangements.
