Margaret McFall, 92, of Tiffin, passed away at 8:41 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016, at Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital.
Margaret was born May 28, 1924, in Ormskirk, Lancashire, England, to William Owen and Alice (Snape) Berkley. She married Kenneth J. McFall June 22, 1946, in Aintree, England, and he preceded her in death Oct. 15, 2000.
Survivors include two daughters, Gail (Richard) Nitterhouse of Michigan and Susan A. (Paul) Kummerer of North Carolina; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Margaret graduated from Walron Hospital in England. She worked as a supervisor at Tiffin Developmental Center and was an active member of First Lutheran Church of Tiffin. Margaret was also an avid knitter.
Margaret also was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, William Berkley, Ernest Berkley, Eric Berkley and George Berkley; and four sisters, Alice Farrington, Marjorie Ellen Joslyn, Evelyn Huyton and Irene Adams.
A memorial service for Margaret will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, 135 N. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-1221, with the Rev. Clayton Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery, Tiffin.
Visitation for family and friends will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
