Wiley E. Graham
Wiley E. Graham, 81, of Kansas, passed away at 11:28 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
Wiley was born Oct. 5, 1932, in Pageton, West Virginia, to Thomas and Rhoda (Mitchem) Graham. He married Katharyn (Turpin) Graham Nov. 12, 1955, in Keystone, West Virginia, and she survives in Kansas.
Survivors also include his six children, Wiley “Bud” (Dina) Graham Jr. of Indiana, Richard (Tonya Benett) Graham of Kansas, Kathy Snyder of Bettsville, Ray (Julia) Graham of Kansas, Janette (Ricky) Riggs of Fremont, and Crystal Graham of Kansas; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond (Rose) Graham of West Virginia; and a sister, Sarah (Albert) Brown of Amsden.
Wiley worked for Basic Incorporation, Bettsville, for 30 years. He really enjoyed gardening, mechanics and the outdoors. Wiley was also a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War.
Wiley was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Joe, Bill, Ruben, Andrew, Jim and Hiley Graham; and two sisters, Edith Mitchem and Cindy Harris.
A private memorial service for family and close friends will take place for Wiley. Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Bettsville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
