Mark ‘Fud’ Edward Fadeley

Mark ‘Fud’ Edward Fadeley, 54, of Tiffin, went to be with our Lord Dec. 31, 2013, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, surrounded by his family.

Mark was born March 27, 1959, in Tiffin to George and Phyllis “Joan” (Shock) Fadeley. He married Cynthia (Huffman) Fadeley in 1980, and they later divorced.

Survivors include his parents; a sister, Wanda (Tom) Risner; a brother, David (Jan) Fadeley; and his children, Mark Allan (Sharon Ransom) Fadeley, Isaac J. Fadeley, Michael C. Ward Jr. and Celeste Fadeley McGee. Other survivors include his grandchildren, Issis, Kane and Marcellus Fadeley, Alysandra and Anastashya Ward and Dominique Edwards, Donovan and December McGee; a niece, Michelle (Ray) Harrison; and nephew, Steven (Michelle) Risner; and lifelong best friend, Delbert Smith.

Mr. Fadeley graduated from Columbian High School in 1977. He worked at New Riegel Cafe and Basic Refractories, then went on to a long career as a truck driver; most recently, he drove for Davidson Trucking. Mark fought a long, hard, courageous battle with liver disease since being diagnosed in April 2008. He was a very passionate man who fiercely defended his family, America and the right to bear arms. His interests included his family, going to auctions, coin and gun collecting, hunting and riding his Harley. He was an avid supporter of the South and his Confederate roots and attended the New Beginnings church.

Mark was preceeded in death by his maternal grandparents, Doyle and Stella Shock, and his paternal grandparents, George and Effie Fadeley.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin, with the Rev. Rex King officiating. Visitation for family and friends also will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. There will be no burial at this time.
