Leo Hohman, 104, of Bowling Green, passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013.
Leo was born in New Riegel to Ferdinand and Estella (Lahrman) Hohman. He met the love of his life, Rosemary “Mary” Fraley Dec. 22, 1936, at a Christmas party and they were married Oct. 21, 1939, and she survives in Bowling Green.
Leo also is survived by his daughter, Leona Hohman of Bowling Green, and a brother, Donald Hohman of New Riegel.
Leo was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters, Edward, Alexina, John, Arthur, Norbert, Hilda, Rosa, Rita and Herbert.
Leo was a truck driver for the Ohio Farmers Grain & Supply Co., now known as Country Mark. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic University Parish, Bowling Green. Leo enjoyed woodworking and yard work. He and Mary also enjoyed traveling, especially to Puerto Rico.
A funeral Mass for Leo will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at St. Thomas More Catholic University Parish, 425 Thurstin Ave., Bowling Green, OH 43402, where visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will be private at St. Boniface Cemetery, New Riegel.
Memorial contributions may be gifted in Leo’s honor to the church, Bridge Hospice, 1069 Klotz Road, Bowling Green, OH 43402, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
