Mardell Mullholand, 84, formerly of Carey, died Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center, Upper Sandusky, surrounded by her family.
She was born Jan. 11, 1929, in Carey, to Orvil and Velma Corrine (Pierce) Putnam. She married Joseph H. Mullholand Dec. 28, 1948, and he preceded her in death Nov. 8, 1990.
Surviving are six children, Daniel (Martha) Mullholand of Carey, David (Kath) Mullholand of Henniker, N.H., Steven “Nugget” (Carol) Mullholand of Findlay and Pamela (Dave) Pratt, Jodie (Dan) Mapes and Mark (Cheryl) Mullholand, all of Carey; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Montague of Carey and Annabel Binau of Tiffin; a brother, Robert Putnam of Tiffin; and two half brothers, Gordon Putnam of Florida and Tom Putnam of Findlay.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson; a brother, Harold Putnam; and a half brother, Rick Putnam.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey and one hour prior to her funeral Monday at the church.
Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carey, with the Rev. William Schultz officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
