Jean Moomaw, 82, of Spokane, Wash., and formerly Fostoria, died Saturday Aug. 3, 2013, in Spokane.
She was born Feb. 2, 1931, in Beckley, W.Va., to Joseph and Pansey (Wills) Roles. She married Charles L. Moomaw Aug. 29, 1953, in Beckley, W.Va., and he preceded her in death May 31, 2004.
She is survived by a son, Charles “Chuck” Moomaw of Spokane, Wash.; two granddaughters; a brother, Jay Roles of Beckley, W.Va.; and a sister, Betty Wilson of Stokesdale, N.C.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and five sisters.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at Fountain Cemetery Veteran’s Memorial Chapel, Fostoria, with the Rev. Donald Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow at the cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kaubish Memorial Public Library or American Heart Association.
Services are being handled by Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, 301 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria.
