Alice “Patty” Fields, 73, of Flat Rock, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at Stein Hospice, Sandusky.
She was born July 5, 1940, in Vest, Ky., to Woodrow and Zella (Dwyer) Sawyers. She married Robert Fields June 21, 1958, in Bellevue, and he survives in Bellevue.
She also is survived by a son, Joseph (Joyce) Fields of Bellevue; a daughter, Roberta (Robert) Linder of Potters Springs, Ga.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Sawyers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Robin Fields; three brothers, Harold Sawyers, Harry Sawyers and Woodrow Sawyers; and a sister, Noma Sawyers.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, 2013, at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
Her funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Flat Rock. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Cemetery, Bellevue.
