Norma J. Hacker

Norma J. Hacker, 80, of Bloomville, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Bellevue Hospital.

She was born April 18, 1932, in Ridgefarm, Ill., to William H. and Viola (McCool) Steeples. Norma married Henderson Hacker Jr. Jan. 28, 1956, in Danville, Ill., and he survives in Bloomville.

Other survivors include four sons, Gregory H. and Michael Hacker of Bloomville, Gerry (Tama) Hacker of Sycamore and Bradley (Karen) Hacker of Bellevue; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Vicki McDowell and Deborah Benfer.

There will be no visitation.

Graveside services are 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Pleasant View Cemetery, at CR 6 and CR 43 near Bloomville, with the Rev. Cathy Wirth officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Diabetes Association.

Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR 19, Bloomville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
