Lyle Rossman passed away peacefully at 6 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at the age of 75 . He enjoyed 18 months of remission from cancer and was blessed to be pain-free through the end.
Lyle is survived by a son, Jeffrey (Renee); daughter, Anne (Dave) Deshaw; son, Nathan (Randy); seven grandchildren, Jacob Rossman, Angie (Chris) Conley, David Rossman, Beth Rossman, Kari (Brandon) Willers, Jessica (Ryan) Wolfe and Kelli DeShaw; one great-grandchild, Owen Willers; sister, Shirley Gernert of Bloomville; brother-in-law, Steve Kagy of Tiffin; ex-wife of 25 years, Linda; and ex-partner of 24 years, Wally.
Lyle was preceded in death by two sisters, Corrine and Maxine.
He was born in Bucyrus, graduated from Antioch College, settled in Fridley, Minn., and was a social worker for St. Paul Public Schools.

His funeral was Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at First Unitarian Society, 900 Mt. Curve Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55403.
