Janet H. Logsdon

Janet H. Logsdon, 84, of Upper Sandusky, died at 10:40 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, in Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Sept. 26, 1928, in Wyandot County, Mifflin Township, to Carl A. and Helen A. (Orians) Rall. She married Lawrence L. Logsdon June 6, 1950, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Upper Sandusky, and he preceded her in death March 25, 2010.

Mrs. Logsdon has two surviving sons, Richard C. (Diane) Logsdon of Marion and Paul L. (Terri) Logsdon of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; four daughters, Susan M. (Richard) Marsh of Toledo, Ann M. (Alan) Richards and Lauren M. (Mike) Bush, both of Upper Sandusky, and Frances C. (David) Boucher of Forest; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Rita (William) Bricely of Tucson, Ariz., and Charlene (Donald) Steyer of New Riegel.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bernard Rall.

Mrs. Logsdon was a 1946 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and a homemaker. She was a member of Transfiguration of the Lord Catholic Church, Upper Sandusky, where she served on the Hospitality Ministry. Janet helped with church socials and luncheons and was a member and past president of CLC. For hobbies, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, vegetable gardening, reading, babysitting and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Her Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Transfiguration of the Lord Catholic Church, Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. J.R. Hadnagy officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peters Catholic Cemetery, Upper Sandusky.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Bringman Clark Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky, where a Scripture service will be at 3:45 p.m. and a CLC memorial service at 7:30 p.m.
