Man charged with aggravated burglary

A Fostoria man was charged with aggravated burglary after allegedly kicking in doors and chasing a man out of a second-story window, according to Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court records.

Jeffrey L. Jones II, 22, was charged with aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony.

He allegedly trespassed in 483 Columbus Ave., an occupied building, and inflicted or attempted to

inflict physical harm on three people,

according

to court records.

At about 3:40 p.m. Thursday, a Fostoria Police Department officer was dispatched to the building, for a report of a man trying to break in.

Jones allegedly kicked in the front and side doors, entered the residence and inflicted physical harm on two people, according to court records.

Jones told officers he went to the residence with the intent to fight a man, according to court records.

He allegedly kicked in the door to go after the man and chased the man out of a second-story window and off the roof, records state.
