Tiffin is Tree City USA for 38th year

The city of Tiffin was recognized Wednesday as a Tree City USA in the Northwest Ohio awards ceremony hosted by the village of Crestline and its Tree Commission.

This is the 38th time Tiffin has been honored with this nationally recognized award.

The title of Tree City USA was bestowed upon Tiffin for its ongoing efforts to maintain and improve quality of life through a comprehensive tree management program. The program is guided by the Tree Commission and the municipal government.

“We are very honored to have been recognized for 38 years as a Tree City USA. Thank you to Parks and Recreation Director Bryce Kuhn and the members of our Shade Tree &. Beautification Commission to helping us achieve this honor,” Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz said in a release.
