Bettsville council hears of new fire truck, ethics commission decision

BETTSVILLE — Bettsville Village Council expressed disappointment in the Ohio Ethics Commission and support for council President and Mayor Gary Harrison at its meeting Tuesday.

Harrison said he received a formal reprimand recently from the OEC for the use of village funds to feed CROSSWAEH Community Based Correctional Facility volunteers who cleaned up park.

Council also learned the fire department was to receive a new truck at the village complex Friday, and the Parks Board is to redefine its mission statement and reinvigorate the village presence.
