A man was cited and a woman was charged after a three-vehicle accident at SR 4 and CR 35 Sunday afternoon.

Trooper Richard Donovan of the Fremont post of State Highway Patrol said Quiana Allen, 19, of Sandusky, was traveling south on SR 4 in a 2017 Jeep Renegade with one passenger, whose name was unavailable Sunday evening. Richard Manton, 56, of Galena, was traveling south on SR 4 in a 2015 Jeep Cherokee with Stacy Manton, of Galena, he said.

Donovan said Allen slowed and was waiting to turn left on CR 35 and Manton stopped behind her. Kelby Harvey, 46, of Grove City, was traveling south on SR 4 in a 2004 Acura 3.5 RL, failed to maintain assured clear distance ahead and struck the Cherokee, which was then pushed into the Renegade, he said.

Donovan said Harvey was cited with assured clear distance ahead and Allen was charged with possession of marijuana.

Nobody was injured in the accident, he said.

Donovan said everybody involved was wearing a seatbelt.

The accident was reported at 2:20 p.m. and Attica-Venice-Reed EMS District, Attica-Venice-Reed Fire District, Bloomville EMS, the Echo unit and State Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
