Crews respond to suspected overdose

Rescue crews responded to a suspected overdose Saturday afternoon, according to Seneca County Sheriff’s office.

About 3:15 p.m., a person called 911 and reported a man in a back bean field at 2471 W. CR 26 possibly was overdosing on some sort of substance, a report states.

Narcan had to be used, and a transport was made to Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.

Bascom EMS, Bascom Joint Fire District and the county’s Echo unit responded.
