Man gets community control

A Tiffin man was sentenced to community control during a hearing in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Steve Shuff’s courtroom.

Tommy C. Halcomb Jr., 30, pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fourth-degree felony, and three counts of trafficking in heroin, all fifth-degree felonies.

Shuff sentenced Halcomb to three years of community control, subject to the intensive supervision and control of Seneca County’s drug intensive probation officer, and 30 days in Seneca County Jail, with credit for 13 days served, court records state.

Halcomb must complete a substance abuse rehabilitation assessment and treatment program through Rigel Recovery Services and undergo twice-weekly drug and/or alcohol urinalysis as directed by the probation officer.

He also must pay a $220 fine, according to court records.
