Condition improves for woman in crash

The condition of a Tiffin woman involved in an accident at TR 109 and TR 112 Friday has improved.

Judith Reinhart, 68, had been listed in critical condition after the accident. She was listed in fair condition at Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo Sunday evening, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Trooper Jake Mellinger of the Fremont post of State Highway Patrol said Friday Nicole Arnold, 34, of Fostoria, was traveling east on TR 112 in a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country with Brett Arnold, 37; Kelsey Arnold, 2; William Arnold, 4; and Abigal Arnold, 4, and Reinhart, 68, was traveling north on TR 119 in a 2016 Mazda 3.

He said Reinhart didn’t stop at the stop sign and her vehicle was struck in the driver’s side by the Chrysler. The vehicles struck a telephone box, the Mazda flipped onto its top and both vehicles came to rest on the northeast side of the intersection, Mellinger said.
