FREMONT — Jerome Webster is to remain at Terra State Community College as a business professor. He resigned as Terra’s president May 16 effective May 31.
According to a separation agreement approved Wednesday by the board of trustees, an employment agreement renewed June 28, 2017, included tenured faculty status.
Webster is to work with Interim President Ron Schumacher on the transition of duties.
The separation agreement takes Webster through July 1, 2020, the time covered under his former contract as president, Schumacher said.
The agreement states that Webster is to receive a base salary of $175,000, with a 3-percent increase annually.
He is to take a sabbatical June 1-Dec. 31.
