After 3-vehicle accident, one driver leaves scene
The driver of a truck involved in a three-vehicle accident at West SR 18 and Angela Drive Wednesday afternoon left the scene, according to State Highway Patrol.
Trooper Garrett Lawson of the Fremont post of State Highway Patrol said Nerieda Guzman, 19, of Fostoria, was facing west on West SR 18 in a 1999 Pontiac and Macey Malagon, 16, of Fostoria, was facing west on West SR 18 in a 2004 Toyota. The drivers were waiting for another vehicle to turn onto Angela Drive when a green Chevrolet Silverado failed to keep assured clear distance ahead and struck the rear of the Pontiac, which was then pushed into the Toyota, he said.

Citations were pending Wednesday evening.
Guzman and Malagon were not transported to a hospital, he said.
Both vehicles received minor damage, he said.
West SR 18 was down to one lane while crews worked at the scene.
The accident was reported at 4:51 p.m. and Bascom EMS, Bascom Joint Fire District, the Echo unit and State Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
