Donations sought for family after fire

BLOOMVILLE — Donations are being collected to assist members of the Reinhart family after a fire destroyed their home near Bloomville early Tuesday morning.

Clothing, personal items and dog food can be dropped off at Mohawk Local School and First National Bank, Bloomville.

A 12-year-old boy wears medium men’s shirts and sweat pants, size 32/32 jeans and size 8 shoes; a 14-year-old boy wears large men’s shirts and pants and size 9 shoes; a 19-year-old boy wears medium men’s shirts and sweats, size 32/32 jeans and size 11 1/2-12 shoes; the mother wears size 3XL shirts and 2XL sweats; and the father wears size XL shirts, 36-38/32 pants and size 8 1/2 shoes.

Financial donations also are being accepted at

reinhart-fire-all-was-lost. The GoFundMe page had raised nearly $1,200 by 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Also, Mohawk Athletic Boosters is accepting donations in the school office and at all home basketball games for the Reinharts and Stocks, both Mohawk-area families who have had house fires this year.
