One injured in accident
Law enforcement and rescue personnel responded to an accident at US 23 and TR 33 Thursday evening.
One person was transported by Fostoria Fire Division to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital, according to a Seneca County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.
The accident was reported at 6:41 p.m. and West Milgrove Fire Department, Fostoria Fire Division, Kansas Volunteer Fire Department, Wood County Sheriff’s Office and State Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
Grand jury indicts two
Two people were indicted by a Seneca County grand jury.
Gerald L. Bicknell, 58, of Fostoria, was charged with failure to provide notice of residence address change, a third-degree felony, according to court records.
Timothy W. Ludwig, 37, of Tiffin, was charged with theft from a person in a protected class, a fourth-degree felony, and theft, a fifth-degree felony.
The items involved in the alleged thefts were checks, money and a television, according to his indictment.
Friday Night Live canceled
Due to an impending winter storm, Friday Night Live at The Ritz Theatre scheduled for today has been canceled.
According to a news release, staff at The Ritz took into consideration the travel requirements of the artists, patrons and volunteers in the decision. January artists are to be rescheduled for another date during the Friday Night Live season.

HPLM event postponed
FREMONT — Due to the inclement weather forecast, the Second Saturdays R 4 Kids program scheduled for Saturday at Hayes Presidential Library & Museums has been postponed until 1-2 p.m. Feb. 10.
During this event, kids are to see the special exhibit “‘Ice for Everybody:’ Lake Erie and America’s Ice Harvesting Industry” and learn how the ice industry allowed people to keep foods such as ice cream in their homes. Then kids will make ice cream.
Admission is $1 for kids. There is no charge for adults to bring kids to this event. Kids and grandkids of Hayes Presidential Library & Museums members at the family level and higher get in for free.
